Nobuo Uematsu (Kochi, March 21, 1959) is a Japanese composer known for his work on the 'Final Fantasy' series. Self-taught on the piano since the age of twelve and influenced by artists like Elton John, he studied English at Kanagawa University, but his true passion was always music. In 1986, he joined Square (now Square Enix) and composed the soundtrack for the first 'Final Fantasy', never imagining that his music would become key to the identity of the series. With iconic melodies such as 'To Zanarkand', 'One-Winged Angel', and 'Aerith's Theme', his style combines orchestral influences, progressive rock, and electronic music, achieving an impact that goes beyond video games. In addition to 'Final Fantasy', he has worked on titles like 'Lost Odyssey' and 'The Last Story', and founded several bands with which he reinterpreted his compositions in a symphonic rock style. His music has been performed in concerts around the world, solidifying him as one of the most influential composers in the industry. For the first time in Spain, he comes accompanied by his full band. We will have the pleasure of featuring Rie Tozuka, Xiao, Michio Okamiya, Chihiro Fujioka, and Nubia accompanying the Maestro on stage.

Kumi Tanioka

Born on August 29, 1974, in Hiroshima prefecture, she is a composer and pianist. After specializing in music and graduating from Kobe University, she began her career as a video game music composer in 1998. Tanioka is widely recognized for her achievements in the 'Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles' series. Her musical style is distinctively characterized by the use of ancient instruments and a deep inclination towards world music (folk and traditional music). Furthermore, she has contributed compositions to highly renowned titles such as 'Final Fantasy XI', 'Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity', 'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate', and 'Minecraft'. In July 2023, she visited Malaga (Spain) to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Gamepolis, a prominent video game event. At the special concert held during the event, she captivated the audience with her exceptional talent, receiving the highest praise and one of the most thunderous ovations of the entire convention.

NORIYUKI IWADARE

Noriyuki Iwadare

Born on April 28, 1964, in Matsumoto city, Nagano prefecture. He is a prominent Japanese video game music composer, widely recognized as a key figure who laid the foundations for interactive music. Since the 1990s, he has composed soundtracks for iconic titles that have gone down in video game history, such as 'Grandia', 'LUNAR', 'Langrisser', and 'Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney', winning numerous awards, including the Best Game Music Award. Iwadare's unique style, which masterfully fuses classical orchestration with modern and dynamic electronic music, has set the highest standard of reference in the video game music industry. In a frontline career spanning over 30 years, his activity has transcended the realm of video games. He has gained widespread recognition throughout the music industry through his participation in orchestral concerts with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the production of the tribute album 'Twelve Doors'. Additionally, he is deeply committed to music education and community development. As an indispensable legend when discussing the evolution of digital entertainment, his immense achievements and legacy continue to shine brightly today.

What do I need to do to enjoy the Meet & Greet?+

When buying any ticket for the concert, add the Meet & Greet supplement to it. The Meet & Greet purchase can be added later, but a concert ticket will be required to access the venue.

When will the Meet & Greet take place?+

After the concert, following the performance of Nobuo Uematsu with con TIKI Show.

How much time do I have for the photo and signature?+

One and a half minutes.

How many items can I bring to be signed?+

Each artist will only sign a single item, and you may bring a maximum of 3 items. We recommend one item for Uematsu and the whole con TIKI band, one for Kumi Tanioka, and one for Noriyuki Iwadare. Tip: if the chosen item is a music record, make sure it is not a counterfeit or bootleg, as this is a unique chance to meet your idols and it would be a shame to discover years later that the item they signed was not authentic. In Spain there was a huge distribution of counterfeits in the late 90s and early 2000s (Ever Anime, SM...). If you have any doubts about authenticity, feel free to ask us on social media and we will be happy to guide you.

Which composers will participate?+

This year we will feature video game music legends such as Nobuo Uematsu (accompanied by con TIKI), Kumi Tanioka, and Noriyuki Iwadare.

How can I contact the organization?+
